PLAYFUL DUDE (NAP) beat Swiftee a couple of lengths to score over track and trip earlier this month and was beaten only a short-head off today’s higher mark back here last week when ahead of the veteran General Tufto. He’s preferred to Schottische, a well-beaten second here last month, while Ramblow also found one too good in maiden company last time. Lucky Louie and L'apogee were placed at Lingfield and Wolverhampton respectively last time but Athassel is upped a further 5lb after scoring at the latter track and debuts on the Fibresand today.
