Warm Words went close in a handicap here last month only to disappoint when sent off favourite back in maiden company last time. VANTAGE POINT has also proved a bit of a let down on the all-weather so far but is clear of the rest on today’s terms and John Gosden has a decent strike rate with the few runners he sends here. State Residence will need to step up on what he’s shown so far and the likes of Alhajjaj and Finale may improve past him on the back of modest debut efforts.
