Welcome Releaf is a confident selection for the nightcap with Scuba and Al Rayanah appearing to be the most obvious dangers. Welcome Releaf won well on his most recent visit to Nottinghamshire and whilst he was beaten in a moderate race at Yarmouth, course form counts for plenty at this track and we will not oppose. Scuba is sure to be popular given Hughie Morrison's recent run of form. The market will tell us how straight he is on seasonal reappearance. Al Rayanah rarely wins but she was far from disgraced over eight furlongs in April. That said, she has never won over today's trip. Local Poet has had plenty of trouble from the handicapper in the past and the assessor has been slow to release the noose. Copper King tries the surface for the first time. Cadogen Square steps up in trip. A modest contest to close proceedings and Welcome Releaf has a gilt edged opportunity to score again.
