Dickie Le Davoir, Grimes Faith and Sir Douglas make most appeal in this claimer and the vote goes to Dickie Le Davoir. The selection disappointed last time in a handicap but he has been running well in this grade and now that he is eased back into a claimer he should take plenty of beating. Grimes Faith was beaten in this grade last time but he may have had excuses as he was denied a clear run at a critical time in the race and with this in mind he could be worth another chance. Sir Douglas has got some fair form but all his three wins so far have come at Wolverhampton. He has run well here in the past as well though and he merits plenty of respect in this company. Goodbye Cash chased home our selection last time but it is hard to see him reversing the placings on these terms and for the winner we will stick with Dickie Le Davoir.
Grimes Faith 11-4 (9-5) Always prominent, not clear run over 2f out, kept on inside final furlong, 4th of 8, 2 1/2l behind Mafaheem (8-12) at W'hampton 6f clm (6) pol.
Owed 4-1 (9-7) Tracked leaders, ridden over 2f out, weakened final furlong, 7th of 9, 16l behind Dickie Le Davoir (9-0) at Southwell 6f clm (6) fbs.
Dickie Le Davoir 11-2 (9-8) Soon outpaced and towards rear, brought wide and headway over 2f out, driven and one pace final furlong, 4th of 7, 8l behind Neardown Beauty (9-1) at Southwell 7f hcp 0-75 (5) fbs.

Swallow Senora (IRE) 100-1 (7-10) Slowly into stride and towards rear, ridden and headway 2f out, kept on inside final furlong, never troubled leaders, 5th of 14, 10l behind Brut (9-0) at Catterick 5f clm (6) gf in Nov.
Sir Douglas 8-1 (9-8) Awkward start, soon close up on outer, led over 4f out to 3f out, weakened well over 2f out, last of 10, 14l behind Mogok Ruby (9-6) at Kempton 6f hcp 0-70 (5) pol.
