Despite his welter burden, the vote here goes to Dance World, with his main dangers suggested as Kylkenny, Bella Pavlina and Daunted. Judged on his victory last time, Dance World is progressing nicely and, also being a course and distance winner, his chance is there for all to see. The caveat, of course, is the fact that he has 10st 9lbs to carry, although his rider takes off three pounds. However, he is still well weighted based on the mark to which he will shortly rise so could still be up to playing a leading part in this contest. Turning to the others and Kylkenny got back to winning ways last time and has actually won from a higher mark, so his chance cannot be readily dismissed. Bella Pavlina loves it here but will need a career best to score, while Daunted is another to come here in great heart, having won his last four races, but that is as much down to his trainer adept placing skills and he faces a tougher task today. The others, it would seem, would need to improve which returns us to Dance World, who could well be up to his weight-carrying task and, accordingly, gets the vote.
