        Verdict

        In a wide open contest Danettie is given the nod ahead of Orpen Quest and Sonderburg. Mark Brisbourne's four-year-old has not been seen since August but put in some solid displays during the summer, including decent efforts on the all-weather at Wolverhampton. This represents quite a step down in class and if fit following her lay off she should be the one to beat. Sonderburg has been going well recently and put in another good effort last time when chasing home dual scorer Legal Lover, another placing should be on the cards. Another major threat to the selection should come from Orpen Quest, who finished an excellent third behind Thornaby Green over course and distance last time. So not a race to get too heavily involved in, but we will side with Danettie.
