In depth

Verdict

The handicapper may have taken a chance in putting Crocolat in off 55 after her half-length defeat inflicted at the hands of the 75-rated Sunny Lady last week and the daughter of Coco Rouge is fancied to make the most of a fair chance at the weights; possibly at the main expense of Fleetwood Mac and Holy Walk, who look capable of getting competitive in a race like this. So too does Commemoration Day, who has better chance than His stablemate, Rock Lobster, on these terms. However, time may tell that Crocolat has been given the ideal chance to rid herself of the maiden tag - especially now that she has proved herself at the trip and has a useful 5lb claimer booked to take the ride as well.
