Barnack has been raised 13lb for finishing second in a maiden hurdle over C&D and that seems a little harsh to say the least, but Batonnier shaped with promise when runner-up on his recent debut over timber and can figure. Blue Monster also finished second on his hurdling bow and won an all-weather bumper when last seen at the track in December, while Twirling Magnet is of interest having won a bumper on his racecourse debut in October. However, GRANDADS HORSE finished a creditable second at Stratford on his first start over timber with a subsequent winner back in fourth and he gets the nod to go one better here.
