Frankie Dettori having been booked for Dan's Heir catches the eye he and he gets the vote ahead of Josear, and it is hard to strongly fancy any of the others. The selection has shown improvement in headgear in his last two runs, including when stepped up in trip to finish fourth at today's trip at Catterick last time. He was going on well at the finish there and, with the opposition looking modest overall, looks to hold good claims. The obvious danger is Josear, who also ran pretty well when stepped up to 12 furlongs last time, but the selection might just prove to be the stronger finisher. It is very hard to build a strong case for any of the others, which returns us to the selection, which is Dan's Heir.
