Verdict
LA SYLPHE ran nowhere near her best despite finding only one too good over 6f here last time. The course and distance winner is capable of much better and Derek Shaw's filly is the one to beat in this if producing it. Lexi's Beauty has been getting closer at Wolverhampton of late but Con Leche was well beaten on his previous start on the Fibresand. Lucies Diamond won at the first time of asking when scoring at Ripon last April but hasn't raced since while Just Past Andover has yet to show any improvement for his slide down the weights.
