        Verdict

        Bapak Bangsawan won last year's renewal but is 3lb higher today and finished well behind UPTIGHT over course and distance last week. The latter also beat Sleepy Blue Ocean on that occasion and an apprentice's allowance reduces a penalty. Powerful Wind is weighted to reverse earlier running with Bapak Bangsawan and could figure along with Jaarih, who landed a claimer here earlier in the month when getting the better of Oscars Journey. Pearl Noir is back on a winning mark but doesn't arrive in the best of form.
