In depth
Verdict
RIO COBOLO can score again here ahead of Abu Derby and Chocolicious. The selection has been running really well of late and was a winner here over the minimum trip on his penultimate start. The form is a little shaky and both career wins have, so far, been over five furlongs but and he meets Abu Derby, who was ahead of him last time, on better terms and that should be enough. Abu Derby, in addition to finishing runners-up ahead of the selection last time, has shown promise in five starts and took really well to this surface in that last effort. There should be more to come but he has to concede weight to his main rivals. Chocolicious has shown a little talent on turf in three runs but as a daughter of Captain Rio has more than a chance to go well on the sand. Hellbender and Tillers Satisfied could also be dangers but Rio Cobolo is our idea of a winner.
