An inauspicious start to proceedings and GENEROUS STAR is our call with Wester Lodge and Satindra others of note among the opposition. Generous Star is exposed as moderate but that is what this race is. Second to Lapina earlier in the month, that was a respectable enough effort in a race where a number of these rivals reoppose. Wester Lodge has been hurdling. He is relatively unexposed on the artificial surfaces though has only got his head infront on one occasion on the turf. Satindra has been busy under National Hunt rules and while off a helpful mark, his previous all weather win came at Southwell. Gay Kelleway is chasing fifty winners for the year so watch out for any market support for Bienheureux. Me Fein ran lamentably last time out and is one for the watching brief. Spume hasn't shown a great deal of late but it is interesting that he is being stepped back up in trip and with the yard landing a few gambles of late, any move is followed. Vanquisher is capable of taking this though needs a strong pace to play to his strengths. Generous Star gets the nod.
