In depth

Verdict

Caribbean Dancer may be able to defy a long absence to beat the likes of Speed Dial Harry and Jackie Kiely. Although off the track for 516-days no less, Caribbean Dancer is sure to have been well galloped by Mark Johnston who seldom leaves anything to work on. This half-sister to quite a few winners likes to get her head in front early as proven by all-the-way wins at Beverley and Yarmouth in the summer of 2005, and it would be no surprise if she were to jump out and make all here on this belated reappearance. The rest look nothing special, with Speed Dial Harry out of luck since scoring over seven furlongs here in February. His ability over today's trip is open to question, while Jackie Kiely has been off since letting his supporters down at Brighton in October. All in all, despite her break, Caribbean Dancer is the pick.
