The trio for the shortlist are Aggbag, Time To Regret and RED CURRENT and the vote goes to the last mentioned. Ron Harris is in good form and Red Current looks to hold solid claims here. She won well at Chepstow over 1m before finding no luck in running over 1m1f at Wolverhampton last time in a race won by Hector Spectre. She is clearly in good heart and she could be worth persevering with. Aggbag wasn't beaten far at Catterick last time over 7f and he looks capable of getting competitive off his current mark. The longer trip will not inconvenience him either. Time To Regret has been a model of consistency of late and he should once again be knocking on the door for some prize money. Thistle returns to the level after a spell over hurdles, but his strike-rate on the flat is far from impressive and he looks best watched. Appelouse could prove best of the others, but for the winner we will stick with Red Current.
