SWINBROOK, Charles Parnell and High Curragh are the trio for the shortlist here and the vote goes to Swinbrook. Richard Fahey has enjoyed a fruitful season so far and Swinbrook can provide him with another winner. This 8-year-old is a course and distance winner and he wasn't beaten all that far at Newcastle last time in a really competitive handicap and prior to that he had won well at Pontefract. He has a good strike-rate on the all-weather and he should run a big race. Charles Parnell is another who boasts course and distance winning form; in fact he is a real course specialist. He stayed-on in eyecatching fashion here last time and he has to be respected. High Curragh is having only his third run on the all-weather but he has been a little disappointing on his last couple of starts when he looked a little below his best. Ron Harris is in good form so Decider could go well at a price, but a safer bet looks to be Swinbrook who gets our nomination.
