In depth

Verdict

A wide open contest rounds off the card and many can be given some sort of chance on their best form but the principals look to be Hillbilly Cat, Peephole and Dylan and the tentative vote is given to Hillbilly Cat. The selection was an unlucky-in-running second behind Smart Ass last time out. That form looks rock solid in the context of this race and off the same mark here he is taken to score. Peephole rates the main danger on his latest third behind Titus Limpus. However he gave the impression he would be suited by a shorter trip on that occasion and for that reason he is opposed. Dylan is another that could go well on his latest second behind Beginners Luck, especially as this longer trip looks to be in his favour, and he should be noted in the market. Of the remainder, Coole Isle has dropped to a handy mark and could go well at a price but he is hard to win with, and in a race where stakes should be kept to a minimum, for the winner we return to Hillbilly Cat in the hope that he has a clear run through out.
