Soba Jones has won his last two starts (both over course and distance) in a handicap and latterly a claimer and is taken to complete a hat trick at the main expense of Shadow Jumper and Majik. The last mentioned has solid claims at the weights but disappointed on turf at Ripon last time so may be best watched although the return to the Fibresand may help Paul Blockley's gelding. Chickado was good value for his win in a course and distance seller last time but this looks a better race than that one, while Domirati has given little cause for optimism in two starts this year. Gracie's Gift is less exposed than most and has to be of interest dropped to this grade although a bigger threat may come from Shadow Jumper, who is better than he has shown of late and takes a big drop in class. Soba Jones has been in fine form of late though and he gets the vote to win again.
