Verdict

Roman The Park has improved from two to three and should be followed here, with Platinum Chief, Mystic Promise and Weaver Spell seen as potential dangers. Roman The Park has clearly appreciated both a step up in trip and the switch to fibresand as she battled on well to open her account here 11 days ago. She still looked inexperienced and can only get better, so the fact that Tim Easterby drops her back to seven furlongs should not be too much of a worry against these opponents. Platinum Chief is still looking for his first win and his stable are not in form at present, while Mystic Promise meets the selection on the same terms as when beaten into third so is held. So, unless Weaver Spell can find some improvement, this looks best left to Roman The Park who will once again be ridden by George Duffield.
