Maromito can have the measure of Levelled and Tuscan Dream, with Miss Wizz another to consider. Having been successful at York in 2002, it has taken a long time for Robin Bastiman's charge to visit the winner's enclosure, but he finally achieved the feat at Lingfield six days ago. The trainer revealed afterwards that Maromito had been afflicted with pedal-bone problems and only now was he showing anything like his true form. It was also noted that he seems to like the Polytrack best, so with him now switching to the slower fibresand, he cannot be considered a good thing entirely. However, he may be able to squeeze out the necessary improvement needed to follow up here. Levelled should give him most to do based on his second to Tuscan Dream at Wolverhampton last week, as he now meets that rival on much better terms for a beating of less than two lengths. He was favourite that day and will again be fancied, but may have to settle for the runner's up spot again. Miss Wizz may come out best of the rest with her pilot claiming seven pounds, but Maromito can continue to make up for lost time and gets the vote.
