Joely Green bounced back to form last time and can take this tricky handicap from Alexander Sapphire and Saddlers Cove. Nick Littmoden's gelding takes a drop in trip having just got pipped at Wolverhampton last time. He went down by just half a length to Spectested over that extended two mile trip, he is just as effective over this distance and as it was his first run for four months he is entitled to improve. Alexander Sapphire hails from the Peter Chapple-Hyam yard and he has outstanding claims on his run here in November when third to Ink In Gold. Saddlers Cove is one that could go well at a decent price. He wasn't beaten far in a better race at Lingfield last month and comes into the reckoning on that performance. Bojangles is another that catches the eye, but Joely Green is back to his best and is worth a chance.
