Zanjeer should be watched in the market for support on his comeback from a lengthy absence, however Branston Tiger looks the safer call and he gets the nomination ahead of Cerebus. Ian Emmerson's eight-year-old won over course and distance back in January and has been given a break since a couple of below par efforts in February. It is hoped that the break will see him refreshed and he can land this moderate contest. Capital Lass and Tour D'Amour have both won over course and distance so warrant respect, however of more interest may be Owed who goes well around here and has the visor on for the first time today. Cerebus has many aids to help him run true but they don't always work although he is capable on his day, however Branston Tiger should be refreshed and gets the tentative nomination.
