In depth

Verdict

Tugalu sets the standard and is taken to open his account; he may have most to fear from Little Eden. The selection has returned a beaten favourite on three of his five outings which hardly makes for compelling reading but he has been found a decent opening. His form is head and shoulders above what his opponents have achieved and it's hard to imagine him getting a better chance. Big Boom and Millie's Rock are both open to any amount of improvement but it would be no surprise if David Barron's newcomer were to run a big race on debut. He's the first foal of a dam that won three times over 5 furlongs and he was bought for 47,000 gns as a yearling. In the absence of support for him, this should prove to be straightforward for Tugalu.
