In depth

Verdict

Came Back can continue his winning spree at the main expense of Dickie Le Davoir. The selection was receiving 6lbs from Dickie Le Davoir when beating him by 2 lengths over course and distance in February but his two runs since then suggest that he's fully capable of confirming the form. He has been popular as each of his last three runs have come for different trainers but Kevin Ryan took no chances in returning him to handicap company last time and was rewarded with victory. He's higher in the weights but looks capable of defying his mark. Dickie Le Davoir is an obvious threat but this is far from being a two horse race. Total Impact and Chjimes are both fairly treated on their juvenile form and may well be able to take advantage one of these days. For the time being though, we'll side with the in-form Came Back.
