A trappy affair in which LOVE YOU LOUIS is only the most tentative of picks with Lesley's Choice and Smokey Ryder the others of interest. A confirmed front runner, the gelding put up his best performance for some time at Kempton on his most recent start. Blinkers were on for the first time and if the trick can work a second time, he could be difficult to beat. Lesley's Choice is respected as a course and distance winner. He has finished behind both Love You Louis and Smokey Ryder in recent starts so needs to turn around form with the pair. Smokey Ryder has been a boon to backers in claimers. The switch back to five furlongs could prove fruitful as she has plenty of speed. Cecily has proved a little disappointing in the past and does not appear to be particularly well handicapped at present. Green Onions is without cheekpieces this afternoon while Dispol Kylie and Dispol Grand hail from a yard that are more than capable of having them ready from absence. Love You Louis gets a tentative nod.
