A very competitive mares’ handicap with the weights headed by Stepover. She is chasing a third course and distance victory and was second on her reappearance here but is now on a career-high mark. The interesting one looks to be CUBSWIN (NAP), who won on the Flat at Lingfield just under two weeks ago. She unseated Bryony Frost when favourite at Huntingdon in April but was just beaten earlier at Cheltenham. Jelly Monger is also fit from the Flat and can’t be ignored on her return to jumping while Shufoog, David's Phoebe and Northern Beau wouldn’t nee to improve much on recent runs to get involved. Towcester second Ortenzia may be best of the rest as Ginger Fizz was only fifth in this last year.
