Im A Witness gets the vote over Lord Gee and Devil's Disguise in a race that will take little winning. Another poor turnout for the Sunday crowd to mull over, and on the strength of two placed efforts so far this season, Im A Witness is put forward as the suggestion. Those promising performances at Catterick and Hereford augured well for his chances at Market Rasen a fortnight ago, but he seemed to run no sort of race in first-time cheekpieces, and not surprisingly, the aids are left off today. Hopefully he will put that run behind him to open his account, with Lord Gee seen as the main danger. Oliver Sherwood has his team in good shape at present, and although on breeding the grey is biding his time until being unleashed over fences, he has done enough to suggest that there will be a visit to the winner's enclosure sometime this season. Devil's Disguise was pulled up at Kelso in December and will need the run, but at least Ferdy Murphy is in form at present. Nothing else here makes any sort of appeal, and it is Im A Witness that is saddled with our vote.
