It is hard to get enthusiastic about any of these but we will take a chance on Safranine, with Pulse, Radlett Lady and Amanda's Lad three others that catch the eye. Ann Stokell does well with her small string and Safranine, who has been knocking on the door recently can add to her tally. This daughter of Dolphiin Street finished an excellent second to The Baroness at Lingfield last time, she hit the front too soon on that occasion and with a little more restraint from her capable rider she could land first prize this time. Radlett Lady was well beaten behind the progressive Attorney last time but has strong claims on her course and distance third behind Chatshow in December. Amanda's Lad has a bit to find on official ratings but did well to finish runner up here last time to Redoubtable and could reach the frame again. Pulse may be better on the turf but put in an excellent performance at Lingfield last time against better opposition and must be given every consideration here. So not a race to go too overboard about, but Safranine has strong claims and gets the vote
