A few disappointing performers here and so we will side with recent scorer Air Mail, with Ash Bold and Nantucket Sound put forward as possible rivals. Noel Wilson's gelding gained a deserved victory in a seller over the seven furlong trip here last week, beating Branston Tiger by a comfortable length. It was his first victory for almost two years so we can't get too carried away, however today's opposition are of a similar standard and a follow up victory looks on the cards. Ash Bold finished two lengths behind today's rival Tyneham in a claimer at Wolverhampton last month but should be capable of reversing the form on six pounds better terms. Nantucket Sound hails from the powerful Martin Pipe yard and returns to the flat after two poor efforts over hurdles. He did perform well at Lingfield last December and should be good enough to take a hand in the finish today. So not the strongest of races and Air Mail could be the safest option
