        Verdict

        Alpha Tauri has recorded all four victories to date over 7f at this track, including a six-length win earlier this month. He looks likely to make another bold bid from the front but THE LOCK MASTER is good enough to catch him if back to his best. He gave notice of that last time when third at Nottingham and the C&D winner may find today's contest panning out to his advantage. Bold Marc won a claimer here last month and could figure while Standpoint has gone close on the surface before and is not out of it either.
