Course and distance winner ALL IN THE RED gets the verdict here with White Deer and Having A Ball offered up as alternatives. The selection was a winner at Nottingham last time and has won three of his last six outings. Two of those came on the all weather, the first of which was over course and distance back in February. The gelding has done well here in the past and a repeat of his last race should see him power to victory here. David Nicholls' yard has been in great form of late and White Deer, who finished second at Thirsk last time, can at least make the frame here. The five-year-old was a little disappointing when last here but a slight step up in trip here should be of benefit. Having a ball is largely consistent on sand and should continue to give a good account. He was a winner over 1m at Kempton last time and though he doesn¿t look like getting the better of our selection he can be thereabouts at the post. Paraguay looks best of the remainder. He makes a return after a seven month break but has run with credit here in the past. Street Devil was a course and distance winner last time out. He has proved to be a rather inconsistent sort though and looks unlikely to get the better of the selection All In The Red.
