Basingstoke is penalised for last week's success over 7f here when just getting the better of Grey Destiny with Cadeaux Pearl further behind. Falcon's Reign also won over 7f here in January but has finished behind Princess Peaches subsequently when the latter was runner-up here. Stun Gun took a big hike in the weights for an earlier defeat of Basingstoke while Illustrious Prince has done all his winning over shorter trips so far. SYLVETTE is proving hard to win with but finally showed some improvement for a slide down the weights when a close-up third at Lingfield last time. Roger Varian's filly gets another chance in this.
