Piccleyes can land this competitive handicap from Lady Pekan and Shaymee's Girl. The selection scraped home in a six furlong event on the turf at Lingfield in June and hasn't managed to add to that success since but has put in some decent efforts in defeat. He ran up to his mark when chasing home Inch By Inch in a classified event at Nottingham in September and a reproduction of that performance should be good enough here. Shaymee's Girl landed here maiden over course and distance earlier this month, and off today's racing weight, should be capable of figuring in the finish. Lady Pekan could go well at a nice price, she has been a little high in the weights since winning at Wolverhampton last December. But she is now down to a handy mark and showed her well being with a promising run at Wolverhampton last time. Wendy's Girl is another to consider in a wide open event, but Piccleyes deserves another victory and is given the vote.
