Verdict
Next Second failed to beat a rival last time having earlier completed a double at Wolverhampton when making all on both occasions. The Grey Lass won at Beverley to open her account but it could be the turn of SLATE CRACKER, who was still in the lead at today’s distance over a longer trip here last time before caught in the closing stages. Both Sparked and Tiberio Smile went close on their penultimate starts while Tilsworth Ony Ta posted a better effort at Wolverhampton last time.
