Monsieur Jimmy beat Spowarticus over track and trip at the start of the month with Sir Geoffrey further behind. The latter popped-up again here last week and carries 6lb extra. Lackaday went close in a claimer at the track on his penultimate start and Speightowns Kid landed a double over course and distance at the start of the year. VIVA VERGLAS has not won since 2013 but continues to slide down the weights and showed a bit more when fourth at Wolverhampton last time. Rob Hornby's allowance further helps his cause and he gets a speculative vote to finally get his head back in front.
