A tight handicap in which PERFECT SWISS makes appeal off a workable mark. Tim Easterby's seven-year-old, a solid and consistent campaigner, retains his form so well and was a brave winner here on his only start on the current surface. A close second last time at Newcastle, he can go one better off just a 1lb higher mark. Chola Empire continues to suggest he's more to offer and his latest run - only beaten a length and a half into fifth at Chelmsford - suggested that this drop back to seven furlongs will prove ideal. He rates a major danger. May Night also deserves a place on any shortlist after two competitive runner-up efforts this month and Gorak is another who needs to be noted as he disappointed when very well backed last time and now drops back quite significantly in trip.
