        Verdict

        Reinstated gets the call over Melpomene, Daneway and Art Investor. Reinstated has been frustrating to follow up to now, having found one or two too good on a few occasions, but with experience to call on, she may finally come good. The step up in trip failed to prove the answer at Wolverhampton last time, but she did make a lot of the running, and the move back to 12-furlongs may just do the trick. Melpomene makes her all-weather debut after chasing home the odds-on Montpellier at Hamilton last time, and the extra trip on a slower surface should help, while Daneway ran in snatches at Wolverhampton and still looks far from the finished article. She can only get better though and may be in the shake-up. Art Investor has failed when tried over this trip in the past and looks worth taking on, and in a race in which bets are best kept to a minimum, it is Reinstated that is saddled with the vote.
