    Verdict

Inflagrantedelicto is a tentative choice over Lovers Kiss, Sheriff's Silk and Taran Tregarth. This is not a race to lose much sleep over, but for those wanting to get involved, the Mark Johnston-trained Inflagrantedelicto may improve enough to take a hand in proceedings. The colt has not shown much pace in two trips to Wolverhampton, but they were both non-sellers, and this drop in grade and switch to a slower surface can only be in his favour. Lover's Kiss won a claimer here five days ago, but that was over five furlongs, and she is not guaranteed to be as effective over today's trip. In contrast, Sheriff's Silk drops back in trip and takes a drop in grade, so with some experience of the fibresand to call on, has to be worth a mention. Taran Tregarth stayed on well when beaten here last time, but has more to do even at this lowly level, and for the winner we return to Inflagrantedelicto.
