Verdict

Dursey Sound won over course and distance off this mark in August so is respected, despite being out of sorts lately. High Ron is another course winner, though is better over further. Pair Of Jacks got off the mark over fences at Kelso two weeks ago but had a hard race and that was only against fellow novices. ROMEO AMERICO's chase career to date has had its ups and downs but he has shown ability on more than one occasion and the handicapper has given him a chance by dropping him in the weights - he wasn't disgraced over hurdles at Sandown last time. Groomed may need another run and Glenwood For Ever has never won under Rules.
