An experienced AW performer Favorisio looks the pick of the weights here and is expected to win despite this trip possibly being on the short side. Regular pilot Tony Culhane takes the mount and with confidence being high from a recent win he looks sure to go well. He holds the canny White Plains on their run here last week and although White Plains is a genuine sort he will struggle at these weights. Course winner Marking Time was all out to win last time out and although in general good form is another who is not favoured by these weights in this seller. A dark horse to consider could be the once-raced Flying Phin who seemed overawed on his debut but was noted making late headway and first-time blinkers may help here. The rest seem either badly weighted or so out of form to be not worth considering though Windshift on his day can be a capable performer. If Littleton Zephir runs well in the first it would be a positive to this horse's chance.
