Peter's Friend beat Chrissycross a head over track and trip last month and that pair are hard to separate. Syncopate could figure if handling the Fibresand and the same comment applies to La Belle Epoque. Uncle Dermot's previous effort at this track doesn't boost confidence but Clonmel winner Auden has a chance on only his second start for John Jenkins. Maakirr has plenty to prove over this longer trip and preference goes to EMPERATRIZ, racing off the same mark as when runner-up to Megamunch over course and distance in August.
