In depth

Verdict

ENEMY COAST AHEAD (NAP) looked a nice prospect when runner-up to Mahler’s Promise at Newbury in December and confirmed that impression when edging out the well-regarded Medalla D’Oro here at the start of the month – he should have few problems defying a penalty. Flint Hill, a winner on the Flat, proved his stamina when runner-up at Market Rasen in February while Loch Ness Monster is fit from the Flat. Shareef Star, however, has shown little so far over timber.
