In depth

Verdict

Croco Bay is a former Cheltenham Festival winner and Double W's won a Grade 3 at Aintree in 2017. The latter rattled up a hat-trick in early summer last year so is no back number. Hatcher is a course and distance winner and the only one of these to have had a recent run so is preferred to Candy Burg, who needs further. Fanzio won his latest start at Stratford and there is scope for further improvement but MCGROARTY appeals as the type to go well fresh and the drying ground is in his favour.
