Verdict
Sofias Number One won the previous race on this card a year ago and is just as happy over this shorter trip. She's twice been beaten off lower marks recently but her rider's claim will aid her cause. Repetition has shot up the weights and is 9lb higher than his victory here in January, though he holds Pick A LIttle on their run at Doncaster. But Sakash is in very good form and looks a threat to all as he has a victory over track and trip to his credit while Tartan Trip is back on the same mark as when beating three rivals here in January. SEVERIANO is still a maiden but went close in a maiden here in January and can return on a 7lb lower mark so could be the one to be on in a tight handicap.
