Verdict

SILVALA DANCE made a very encouraging handicap debut on her return from a break at Kempton in July and, though she's unraced since, may not take much getting ready and looks on a low enough mark to start making up for lost time. Warfare has usually raced in better company and is on his lowest ever mark but On The Cusp's last success was over 1m4f on this track. General Tufto has won 13 of his 139 races but also finished runner-up 14 times. He likes it here and is rarely beaten far so it will be a surprise if he's not in the shake-up. But Sam Spade has twice beaten him on this track recently and can do so again as he didn't appreciate soft ground at Nottingham last time.
