A tough race to get out on and CAPE OF STORMS is the pick with This One's For Eddy and Another Genepi others to make the shortlist. Roy Brotherton's charge is something of a Southwell specialist over six furlongs. He did put up a fair third behind Mocha Java in February over this trip and off a light racing weight, he can be relied upon to give another good account. This Ones For Eddy may have been freshened up by an awayday to Kempton. The handicapper has certainly had plenty of chance to have a look at him. Another Genepi is more than capable of landing a race of this nature but frequently flatters to deceive. Whitbarrow seldom runs a bad race although he is a more appealing proposition over six furlongs. Gracie's Gift won off a mark of 49, beating our selection in the process, last Wednesday. Life may prove a little tougher with the penalty. Sweet Gale has produced little of note since leaving Jeremy Noseda's yard. My Mentor is tried in first time cheekpieces and as with any Sir Mark Prescott runner, the market has to be watched closely for clues. Ballycroy Boy won a seller for Alan Bailey and makes a debut for Mandy Rowland this afternoon. Plenty of plausible winners on the book so we make a minimum stakes recommendation about Cape Of Storms.
