Verdict

The betting suggested BLOWING DIXIE was back to his best after a lay-off and he duly won over 1m4f here with a bit to spare. He remains on a winning mark, despite a 5lb penalty. Bay Of Naples failed to cope carrying 5lb extra last time having won at the track before that while the unexposed Morlaix takes a big step up in trip after winning a maiden handicap over a mile here with Calculus back in third. Kells debuts on the Fibresand but is preferred to the returning Trouble Shooter.
