MADISON BELLE is our selection with My Sweet Georgia and La Capriosa the other obvious protagonists. Madison Belle won a similar contest in decisive style at the course and there is a cogent argument to suggest that on that evidence, she might be better than the official figures suggest and we take her to land the hat-trick this afternoon. My Sweet Georgia is the potential fly in the ointment. In receipt of weight, she is much better in today than if this race were a handicap. That said, she required plenty of rousting along at Lingfield to get competitive and she can ill afford to demonstrate similar behaviours on the fibresand. La Capriosa won a claimer over five furlongs at the weekend. She displayed a willing attitude when faced with the battle but from a formbook perspective, it didn't look a strong race. Dancing Wave has had the misfortune of seeing Espirit De Midas disappearing away from her during her last two outings. Hawkspring has become a professional bridesmaid. Glan Lady is not without recalcitrance. Madison Belle secures the nomination.

My Sweet Georgia (IRE) 8-1 (8-13) Dwelt, pushed up to track leader, ridden over 2f out, every chance from over 1f out, unable to quicken towards finish, 2nd of 8, 1l behind Woolston Ferry (9-3) at Lingfield 7f 3yo clm (6) pol in Jan.
La Capriosa 9-2 (8-7) Tracked leader, led over 2f out, challenged approaching final furlong, kept on well under pressure, won at Southwell 5f clm (6) fbs beating Just The Lady (8-3) by a nk, 6 ran.
