Verdict
INGLEBY ARCH can pick up his rivals close home though Dancing Maite and Invincible Isle are likely to have their supporters. The gelding has warmed up with a recent engagement at Newcastle but the fibresand at Southwell seems to be his preferred surface and having performed at the zenith of his powers at this point in the season previously; we are prepared to row in. Dancing Maite is another Southwell specialist. He has been dropped 2lb by the assessor since his latest run and Darryll Holland replaces an inexperienced pilot in the saddle. Invincible Isle has never raced at this course previously. She looked useful when dotting up in a Pontefract handicap a couple of months ago. Pawan rarely runs a bad race and has place claims again. Lesley's Choice showed his best form for some time over five furlongs on his latest start and on breeding, six will suit. Fesko won over six furlongs at Leicester and will be hoping that the front runners set off at a furious rate of knots. Ingleby Arch is the pick in a race where plenty hold plausible chances.
