FIN VIN DE LEU can make amends for a recent beating at Bath though this is no easy task with Blue Nymph and Mubrook in the line up. The selection was guilty of going off much too quickly last time out but with this Southwell surface notorious for favouring front runners, a canny ride could well prove to be the undoing of his more unexposed rivals. Blue Nymph hails from a yard in form. That was a desperate maiden that she won at Kempton though she has raced here previously. The presence of Kieren Fallon on a Sunday at Southwell raises plenty of eyebrows though Mubrook has plenty to prove after his Kempton defeat. Hindu Kush needs to drop down the weights before he will be troubling the judge. Dunaskin needs no introduction whilst Epsom winner, Feathered Crown, is a real dark horse and the market will give us most ideas as to expectations. Fin Vin De Leu gets the nod.
